Nah. It's ok in the immediate counties surrounding Philly. I'm not sure about Pittsburgh...

Lancaster County and west is where you really see the difference.

So west of Lancaster County will I find "Gun Slingers" like in the old west?

Seriously, I would imagine there's alot of hunters out that way.

Yeah Philadephia area for sure has the friendlier people.
NYC has too many rude people. Seems like they don't know any other way.

Can I kindly ask you on where do the philly suburb snobs "breed" generally speaking of course?

I reside in Northeastern NJ across from NYC and snobs breed here big time as well as hatred is abound. Does it take so much to be nice to people?? I don't quite get it and I'm quite tired of it as well. I bet that the OP is tired and is why he/she asked this question to begin with. Heck, I'm seeking out of here too and PA might be a destination. The trouble is that I don't see that many job opportunities/openings (Accounting field in a support role) at any given time going by the postings in the job board sites and is a joke in the newspapers. Maybe the Philly area employment agencies or employers don't like posting their openings - I don't know and if someone can clear this up for me I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

BTW: Just a few minutes ago I went to my local supermarket and parked two parking spaces away from a guy unloading groceries into his brand new Jeep Commander and he gave me that "evil eye" for what I don't know. I went into the supermarket and exited less than 5 minutes to find that same shopping cart he was using to be rolled right into the left quarter panel of my 1992 model year car when there was the holding area for carts in the parking lot very close by. I was livid to say the least, luckily there was no damage. I did nothing to deserve this and maybe the reason is because he deemed me as not to be his type (wealthy) and wanted to show me that he was great and I was "a nothing or nobody" to him maybe. Why so much hatred? What a (blank)! Has this ever happened to any of you?

Thank You all so much for reading through this.

well apparently I think it does. If you want my 2 cents, I think this world has become so fast paced that people are only thinking of themselves, they don't even have time for their own families anymore, therefore buy and spend ridiculous things on their children to make up for parent time, because after working all day, they are too tired. sorry, like I said my opinion, I do have kids and try my best to raise them as good people, but I gotta say, it's tough when you are surrounded by rude people.... how sad
