I looking for anyone who might be able to assist in my reseach of locating information regarding the following Italian immigrants that lived in the DePew, New York area for about 4 to 5 years. The names are: Luigi Giansanti or Gensante and Catarina Petrelli or Petrello. It is believed that the two mentioned arrived at Ellis Island between 1910 and 1912. It is also believed that they were married in DePew. While in DePew they had three children...Josephine, Leo or Leonardo and Vincenzia or Virginia. Very incomplete Ellis Island records indicated that Luigi went to live with a cousin, last name DeAngelis on Broadway in DePew. Can anyone tell me if DePew has records of marriages or births dating back to 1910? I would appreciate any information. All records on these two individuals were lost about 50 years ago.
