I would like to get some advice from you people. I have been hearing about the money on web and it really interests me. Is it true that people get rich by just working online? I too have some free time and I want to utilize it to my best interest. I know there are many jobs online but need you people to suggest me on the better ones.Hope that you people will help.
Thanks!

Don't chase money; it will elude you.
Find a problem and solve it; money will find you.

I am an older person who needs to supplement income. I too would like to know if there are any online jobs. Everything I have looked into for months turns out to be someone trying to sell me their 'method'. Their online jobs are suckering people like me into sending them cash, something I have not done. So are there any legitimate online jobs?

Selling products on Ebay is probably the most common. Other typical online ventures include selling affiliate advertising or server space. On Etsy.com, people sell crafts and baked goods. On Cafepress.com, people sell graphics on various items like T-shirts. If you're looking for an office job, visit guru.com and elance.com. These sites are like Ebay for services.

With parents needing flex time, elderly needed supplemental income, gas prices being so high, the move to a service economy, the proliferation of communication technologies, etc., I am glad to see working from home become an accepted option with legitimate opportunities. It just isn't the norm yet in our society, so it's great to have a forum like this to brainstorm and exchange ideas.

what kind of jobs do you do? When I was going though a computer contracting company quite a few of the jobs were work from home style.

You don't look for jobs online, you create them yourself.

It is called being an entrepreneur. You risk your own time, your own money and you reap your own rewards if it flies in the marketplace.

Most sellers on eBay, Amazon etc. make very modest sums, and fewer yet actually make a decent living. I did it for years until the competition squeezed the profit out of it. I do other things today, and while I am far from wealthy, I am very happy doing it.

That counts for a lot.
