Maxed out on IRA and 401k every year for +35 years. Heavy on stocks currently 92%. Part of my pension got cashed out into 401k/IRA. Same company for 37 years. High earner, college grad, MBA. Lived below my means, small inherited IRA ($165,000). Same home 34 years, used cars dumped at 175,000 miles.

That's the millionaire next door material right there. Great job.

We're on the same track. You'd never guess we are millionaires looking at our house, cars or how we dress/act and that's how we like it.

Well done, it sounds like you’ve done everything right along the way. I hope you enjoy your retirement.

I usually prefer 'Ocean Waves' from Amazon music to put me to sleep because I'm laying down.
But while I'm here, is Real Estate in a bubble?

We are in the PNW. Our salary has been fluctuating quite a bit last couple of years. I am basically moving into early retirement / becoming a SAHM after my temp positions are over this summer. My husband recently got a new job w/ a salary increase. When I stop working in about a month we will live on my husband's salary. My goal is to get both of us into complete retirement in 5 years once all our kids are in college.
