Did you check the where's my stimulus check on the irs website? If not, check it out. If it says its been issued then you probably need to call.

If you filed close to the 4/15 deadline your check is probably delayed. We file on 4/15 because we usually owe and we just got a letter about it.

Go to the irs website and look for the "Where's my stimulus check" link. Enter your information and it will tell you what it knows about your check.

My check for taxes was cashed on March 28. My rebate check was due on May 23. I filed by mail and selected the option for electronic deposit. My rebate was deposited on June 6. Hadn't seen anything in the mail yet. That will probably show up in a few days. Woohoo.

About a week before I got our check, I got a thing in the mail telling me to expect it and other stuff. I remember it saying if you don't get it within six weeks after your expected date to call them. So if you haven't got a paper like that I would be contacting them.

Guess I was a lucky one...filed on 4/15...got my refund AND stimulus check direct deposited on 5/2...my coworker is mad because she used turbo tax and selected to pay for her tax return processing out of her refund...they came back a few weeks after she filed and said her stimulus would be delayed because it had to come to them first instead of the govt sending it directly to her, maybe that is causing some of the issues mentioned above?

I got a notice one day to expect mine within eight days and to wait 30 more days if I didn;'t get it to notify the government. But the next peice of maill after that in the stack was my check. Also check to make sure your check was not credited to some thing like past due child support or student loan etc if that could be the case.
