It won't be long before they find another way to make us pay, like by assessing a fee or rate on all charges up front and then another rate for balances carried.

I'm not surprised that Capital One has high rates. They have to pay for that junk mail that they have been sending to both me and my wife about three times a week for the last three or four years.

You would think that they would have caught on by now that we are not interested, but they keep wasting money and sending it anyway.

LOL. You should google "opt out". You can register to stop receiving CC offers in the mail.

Where do you do that?

I'd like to give it a try.

But I wouldn't be surprised that even though we wouldn't get any more credit card offers they will probably sell my address to other lists and I'll get a ton more junk mail.

I have a US Bank Visa. I have not heard anyone say anything about US Bank so far.

I have been waiting and I finally got a letter with some mumbo-jumbo about my rate being raised. I use the card moderately and pay it off every month, I'm not even sure what my rate was. So I don't care what it is now.

I go right to the local branch of US Bank and pay my cc bill in person, usually with cash. I get a receipt too!

Default Capital one pamphlet phone number

Can anyone tell me the phone number to call on the pamphlet. Someone threw the pamphlet out and I want to shut down Capital One.

Thanks
