Hello, I am thinking of moving to Quakertown West in Quakertown and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the place.

I think this is the same place that a friend told me about (no first hand knowledge though). A friend of mine lives here at these apartments or something not far from there and he says he's always "packing heat" because of the "interesting" neighbors.. he's in the Navy and a little odd LOL so you can never tell how serious he is.
Best thing to do is to check it out after hours. See who's hanging around, etc.. We are moving this weekend to Quakertown (just bought a house) but we are out away from the "city". With Quakertown (we know the area well), it's a mixed bag (ethnicity) in most of the more populated areas. I would personally move anywhere within the city limits but I hear the rentals are inexpensive.
Best to check out after hours when people are home and roaming about.

Thank you so much both of you for your responses. I doubt I will make an appointment now to look at the inside. Any places you know of that are good that are below $900?

I haven't heard of Park Manor apartments, Creme? Have you thought about moving somewhere out of the guts of Qtown city dwellings and into a roommate situation in the outlying areas? Just a thought.

yanno Dana, when I was looking for an apartment, I found the privet apartments were much nicer, a little bigger and more affordable...watch the papers. Check out the paper that comes around once a week, I forget the name of it...it's a free paper filled with nothing but adds....

but, I would stay away from apartment complexes...as they are a haven sometimes for undesirables....? Thats just me.

Yeah, Park Manor is a bit down the stree from Yum yum, if your heading down town, it's a street to the right....some of the Park Manor Apartments are on 14th street. I have never heard anything bad about them, and I don't think people leave all that much...but I also think that no matter where you move to, you should investigate, talk to the neighbors, b/c your making an investment, even short term and you want to make sure your going to be safe.

Ask them what they like about it, and what they don't like about it....

Good luck

Creme
