can i still sue for double my security deposit? LL and i have been communicating thru certified mail, mailed to my PO box address, which NEVER changed. I never WROTE him a letter with my forwarding address, because, obviously there wasnt a new forwarding address, and furthermore we both have continued to correspond thru my current box. Will this be a problem in court? i am sueing for double b/c he withheld for 60 days at this point against what he is claiming to be unpaid rent, that in fact i have the bank statements to prove that he received and cashed checks for. i dont want to get screwed on something as ridiculous as this....Thanks!

In NJ,as long as you have proof he has been getting your letters, certified mail, you can get your money.I'm not sure about Pa. but i can't see why not.The cashed check proof is all that much better for you
