Quackers won't be handed out until the end of the ride. Saw that on Channel 6 tonight...plus it's mentioned in the article.

that makes them somewhat more tolerable. but i imagine they'll still be driving around blasting the rocky theme and giving their totally watered down sometimes inaccurate version of history.

which as offensive as those quakers are, peddling their brand of "history" is what makes them truly offensive in my mind.

Those horse carriage tour guides are just as bad. I've often winced when I caught a snippet of the "historical facts" they were telling tourists. It's embarrassing.

Do what I do Frank, flip them the middle finger when they pass you. It gives them the REAL Philly experience!

They have those duck things in a lot of cities and theyre annoying everywhere, but for some reason they just dont fit in philly more than anywhere else to me. They just dont match the nature of the city.

agreed. In fact I probably hear them spouting non sense more than the ducks tours.

the ducks still annoy me more tho. At least the horse carriages are a philly based company and not a cookie cutter tour that they took from branson misouri and wedged into philadelphia.

also I've yet to hear a horse play aretha franklin at full volume while quacking loudly.... Although they do sh*t all over the place.

I wonder if they'll make people put on their life jackets when they enter the Delaware. If not, they should...just in case.
