Not sure if you would go past Grant. Even going past Rhawn is a bit of a stretch, IMO.
That's already in the plan . . . this map is of the existing system plus all proposed and/or funded expansions

The Roosevelt Blvd. Subway would have the same ridership as the Broad St. Subway the day it opened.

haven't you ever ridden on septa on Sunday before? always crowded because trains, buses, etc show up so infrequently.
Been living in philly all my life and never been on the subway on a sunday or holiday

As Philly expands itself and it's image, it should be expanding the hours of service and frequency of service during off-peak times. I can't imagine how miserable the subways must have been this past weekend with the festival. Do they limit service o. The 4th of July as well? That'd be silly.

Philly is growing toward being a true 24/7/365 city again, SEPTA should keep pace if the city wants to avoid Atlanta like traffic.

On July 4th and Labor Day, people are home cooking out and spending time with family not riding septa

There is no reason to be on a subway platform which would be like a hour wait on major holidays. I had to travel one time on Thanksgiving and the bus took so long i decided to get a cab

Something that could really SEPTA out is if they ditched the tokens already and use a card system. I think Philly might be the only city in the Northeast Corridor (Boston to DC) still using tokens.

The subway has three schedules - Weekday, Saturday & Sunday/Holiday. The trains run every 10 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes in the early morning and late evening.

There are some bus routes that are only scheduled for every 20-30 minutes during the week. On a sunday that could be once an hour. If your phone uses google maps you can just tap the bus icon and it will tell you when the next two buses arrive.

That's why I never even considered moving to Northeast, it would be like living in a new city because my family would never see me
