Hi Everyone,

We continue our quest to move out of NYC and are again contemplating PA. We visited AppleCross Country Club this weekend in Downington and we really liked the community and facilities. We have seen countless homes across Lehigh and Chester and these homes (made by Pulte) we liked. We would probably live in the gated manors section. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences to share regarding living there?

Also we would be putting our kids to catholic school and would be considering Pope John Paul- any feedback on that school?

I read a thread here about rowdy teens in Downingtown which I do not particularly care for....can someone confirm that this is the case there?

If you're looking to move to Downingtown, I'm not sure why you're considering Pope John Paul II High School...it's not even in Chester County. It's in Montgomery County (Royersford). If it were me, I'd be looking at Bishop Shanahan High School, as it's actually in the Downingtown area.

Welcome to Bishop Shanahan High School

No offense but I doubt kids from Downingtown can even break somebody's nose, let alone pause any kind of a threat to anybody. I wouldn't be scared off of a place by some punk kids who probably can't even box.
