I find they try, but not as good as blue collar NJ/NYC area. But often times you can hear the anger and frustrations.

Bruins-1 (2011)
Celtics-1 (2008)

The Patriots also lost 2 other Super Bowls, the Bruins lost a Stanley Cup final and the Celtics lost in the NBA finals over that same span.

Kind of ridiculous, really.
Since someone bumped an old thread, need to add another Super Bowl and World Series win.

The anger and frustration is that they can’t afford the million dollar condos in the neighborhood they grew up in. The gentrification of big chunks of Boston over the last 40 years is remarkable. With a saturated transportation system from all the prosperity, it’s accelerating.

And THERE.....is the Boston attitude. The worst sports fans in the world (Eagles fans in distant second).

Yeah, but there's a difference:

Philly sports fans have to put up with years of frustration in between the occasional championships.

(Then again, I guess this describes Red Sox fans too.)

I have this kid from Mass in my office who's 27. Never known any of his teams to suck unrelentingly (I am from Cleveland so I can write a book). He literally EXPECTS his teams to win every single time they play.

It's exhausting.

Children like him don't want to learn any history.
