So I decided to rent a place in Old City, thinking that all of the metered parking spots were permit parking spots. Right now, I'm renting a place in a garage for a month while I wait for my PA plates, which I need to have before I can apply for a permit. I'm really not seeing any Zone 10 parking spots except a handful on Front St. Am I screwed? I'm working in the suburbs and usually don't get home until between 6:30 and 7pm. Where exactly are the Old City permit parking spots? I live around 2nd and Market.

Are there any garages in the area for under $200? Help!

Residential parking permit district 10 is "Girard avenue on the north, Delaware River on the east, Market street on the south, east side of Broad street on the west."

§12-2703. Designation of Permit Parking Districts.

If it's anything like my neighborhood (Rittenhouse), you're screwed getting home between 6:30 and 7pm.

You can use the PPA parking at 2nd and Samson for $200 a month. It's going to be hard to find something monthly for less than that in the immediate area.
