I am moving to a new job in Malvern. I am new to the USA. I would like to know how much will be the cost of living in Malvern. I have some queries regarding this place. Sorry for a lengthy post , but since i m new , i may need ur guidance here:

1) Is Malvern a city/town/village.?
2) Are there good connectivity via trains buses to nearby cities like NY, NJ etc.,
3) How long does a taxi ride takes to the nearby airport and what is the average fare?
4) I referred to some websites. i understand that the railroads are also very scarcely connected to major stations . Is my understanding right. How frequent are trains here?

I am also looking for the average costs for

1) house rent - for 2 people. My need will be for a family of 2.
2) Availablities of amentities like groceries, malls , etc., in and around Malvern.
3) Is it safe to live in Malvern.
4) My employer has given me an annual paystub of 45K .Will this be enough for a decent living in Malvern.

Please also let me know of the transit facilities (availablity of trains, buses, flights) to move to near by cities. I understand there is no airport in the city. Also from net i have an understanding that it is very less connected by rail as well.. Is it true

I want to know the current status of this place. In case you have suggestions to choose a different place which is better than Malvern then please let me know with your reasons.

malvern is a small village with decent train service to philadelphia (where theres an airport). it is likely your employer is down the hill from the residential portion which may make it difficult to get from one place to another without a car. most shuttle buses run from paoli. there is a grovery store in malvern.
