It still is. That is usually where I and friends end up eating after going out. We just hop the train back down to South Philly and it's literally right off the Ellsworth-Federal stop. Usually it is packed after 2am on a Friday or Saturday.

Well there is also The Dolphin and Boot & Saddle right within 2 blocks, plus the bars in and around Passyunk.
