yeah she has nothing to be afraid of at all, it's not a bad area and the highway is right there.

OK THANKS EVERYONE!!! im going to show this to her tomorrow night when she gets home from work, and also my dad said it was fine for us to go alone so maybe she'll lighten up once i tell her

I'm not sure about that route. The Schuylkill gets backed up but 476/95 is out of the way. I would only take 476/95 if there were an extreme backup on the Schuylkill.

According to googlemaps, my way IS longer by 16 minutes, but IMHO, avoiding the Schuykill and Philadelphia traffic is worth that and more. In my experience, there is much more likelyhood of accidents-backups and construction doing the Schuykill. We drove down to Citizens Bank Park last week and made it in about an hour and 15 minutes. I live about 10 minutes from the OP.
