I am newly pregnant and live in Gloucester County NJ. The obgyn I have only delivers at Underwood Hospital in Woodbury NJ. I have never heard a good thing about this hospital. Was considering switching to Physicians for Women which delivers at Crozer Chester. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Our first child was born at Pennsylvania Hospital and it was an absolute nightmare; he was discharged quickly with a high bilirubin level (jaundice) and had to be admitted to the NICU at Crozer Chester.

They were so kind and supportive of me and my family during a very difficult time - my wife had a really tough labor and postpartum to boot so I had been running on only a few hours sleep a night for about a week at that point. They had me bring my wife in so they could care for her, help her with nursing and give me a much needed break...I can't speak highly enough of the personalized care we got there even though we didn't deliver there.

We delivered our next 2 children at Crozer Chester because they treated us so well during that first week of my son's life.

The nurses are kind and caring and the rooms are bright and sunny.

I would recommend Dr. Marlene Dookhan at Suburban OB/GYN if you can't get into Physicians for Women which I hear is really great as well.
