This is of course assuming it is not a 2nd ticket in a year or whatever the traffic school limit is.

Traffic school is not an option for photo radar tickets. Hubby got one a few months ago. Fortunately, it does not go on your record so it will not affect insurance rates.

That all depends.

I understand if it's a ticket from the freeway cams you will not have it on your record and therefore cannot attend traffic school. City radar tickets are another story.

Even as much as I detest the cams, I maintain it's never a good idea to try to dodge responsibility of a ticket. Better to pay with your money now than pay with your backside later.

You may be asked if you can identify the driver but, it's not your job to identify. On the other hand, there is at least one Justice of the Peace in Mesa who doesn't particularly like tom-foolery like this.
Generally speaking, a process server is not limited to giving the papers to adults. The law requires "a person of suitable age and discretion" which could include people MUCH younger than 21. Six is too young, but I agree that the child opened the door, but an adult was served, the way it sounds.

I don't think the expired ID on the server is going to change anything. Do traffic school, or pay the fine. In most jurisdictions, the cost is about the same. Traffic school can also be done online now.

Traffic School IS available for photo tickets from some, if not all, municipalities/municipal courts.

I drive though Arizona a lot, and I got one of those photo radar tickets in the mail last year also, I was on the 17 freeway. I thought about throwing the ticket away but I didn't want to take any chances, even though I don't live in Arizona, so I mailed in the fine to avoid any problems, I think it was around $180.
