On a balmy winter evening I would often throw my dinner into Tupperware, and head to Papago Park to enjoy the quiet dance of sunset light. For me, it made the misery of summer worth enduring . . . Some say that the best things in life are free! I prefer to think of the best things in life as being priceless. They have a value far beyond the limitations of human currency.

Pretty picture, but it still does nothing for the heat. I also like to look at snow, but I sure do not like the cold weather that goes with it.

Gorgeous photo! I grew up with that, and will soon have it again (yes, I found a place in AZ and am moving soon)

You go outside at night and the air smells like perfume. The cicadas are buzzing. There's a warm wind in your face. There's the moon and the stars. Off in the distance is a lightning storm ripping across the sky.

You can't get that in Philly.

I kinda like the monsoon weather, sans damage and folks getting hurt.

It'll be hot and sticky, then all of a sudden the wind picks up and it's absolutely delightful.

I love living in the desert.

You don't get the rattlesnakes or scorpions in philly either.

Nice! It's amazing how beautiful it can be in a place that's soooo dang hot! I love it though.
