I worked last night and will be working again tonight. Tomorrow morning will be my only opportunity to check out the celebration but it would mean cutting out my morning trip to the bar for NFL games.

Is the Tempe celebration the real deal with German food and good beer? I could go for a liter of German brew but if Tempe puts on a family fun event with cheap American beer (like I've seen in other places) I'd rather watch my Lions lose at the bar.

Worst case scenario I could drop by and scope the place out and bail if it stinks but I assume someone will be able to tell me if it's a good time or not.

For some reason I'm not able to view their website. I've been trying since last night.

I finally got it. Looks like it could have some potential. I head over early tomorrow and take a gander since it's free to enter.

I was reading the fest facts and saw this, what are the tickets for, you have to buy them as coupons to buy what you want such as beer and foods?

"Your money is no good here. Entry is FREE. Family pricing: $20 for sheet of 25 tickets - 5-7 pm Friday, 10-6 pm Saturday, 10-6 pm Sunday"

Yes, you use the tickets to buy food and such so all the vendors all over the site don't have to handle money.
