There was a big Arab American festival recently as well though I don't think it was downtown. They were expecting 40,000 people to attend.

As for CityScape, it sounded like they are planning quite a few things for there over the next few weeks.

There are many of these kind of things going on, especially now that the heat is behind us. I seem to never learn of them until after they are over. I think azcentral.com is a good source of info on them and I need to check there more often.
