Our long time dream of moving to Arizona is finally coming true as we just sold our house and will be arriving in July. We will be renting until we find a home we want, and we're looking for someplace furnished so that we don't have to unload and load our pods more than once. We're thinking about Budget Suites of America....furnished, not extremely expensive. Does anyone know anything about these places? Thanks for your comments!

Hard to advise...how many are "we"? DO you care where you stay (Phoenix is a large spread out metro area). Campaige Place located right downtown; Legacy Extended Suites in several locations. Budget Suites and the ones I added are not going to be able to store your PODs. Are you looking for a temporary rental (6 months or longer) or just some place to flop while you scour the rental ads and move into the first thing you find? Help us to help you!

Our pods are already stored, so we don't have to worry about that. My husband and I are looking for a temporary place to rent while we look for a house to buy. As far as where, the east side or north. Thanks again!

I've seen suites motels as low as $600.00 per month. Do shop around. Distance to wherever you are traveling is important.

There may be homes to rent. Some furnished. But some are year round or seasonal.

Here on one local home rental agency that covers everything from sales to home rentals:

Cool Surprise,AZ

I would try looking at Surprise, AZ. Before we moved to the Midwest, we lived in Surprise for 10 years (loved it!), there were at least 3 hotels that were built there.

Also, try the I-10 corrider between the 101 freeway and Litchfield Road in Avondale/Goodyear.

Personally, I would target the area closest to where you wish to reside based on home purchase (fuel prices).

The last thing you want is to burn a lot of gas driving long distances to find your next home.
