We had a flat tire this morning on MC 85 and Litchfield. Within the first 5 minutes 2 cars stopped to help. First guy had tools in hand when he got out and the second car gave us all water.. I fixed the tire and on we went. FYI We have lived here for 3 weeks now (from midwest) and have found a new home. People that live here are A+ and very nice from retail to neighbors. THANKS Phoenix!

I love hearing stories like this - it's good to know that there are still Good Samaritans out there willing to stop & help others out in jams like that. I have stopped before to help out stranded motorists, whether it's lending a phone, a short ride to get a can of gas, jumpstart, etc. Glad everything turned out well for you. I'm from the Midwest myself - welcome to Phoenix

The state patrol actually has a road assistance truck that will help stranded motorists along the I-10 too. I will say of the far SW valley that the majority of us are pretty down to earth!

My husband always says you can tell who your friends are if they will change your tire in this heat - everything you touch is super hot. What a bunch of nice folks. Thanks for setting a good example-whoever you were.
