My friend lives on 72ave and Baseline in Laveen. His house is brand new and looks like a really nice neighborhood.

Back in December...he was awaken in the middle of the night by multiple gun shots. Long story short...looks out his front and side window. 2 dead bodies!

Lives on Fawn dr. Look it up.

Crime can happen anywhere.

I was interested to know if the original poster Arun has gone forward and bought the house in laveen and if yes what he feels about his decision.

We are new to Phoenix. Moved from San Jose, CA.
We saw KB homes at 7514 South 29th Way, Phoenix, AZ 85042, south of Baseline. After reading all the posts, I'm wondering on this area.

Are the areas on Baseline closer to tempe better than west baseline?
Have the situations changed for better in that area with regards to CRime and schools and overall good neighbourhood to raise a family.

We have a 10 month old baby and want to stay away from crime as much as possible.

My work is at 24th and E lincoln DR in North Phoenix.

Hi. When you say "drive past the 35th and Baseline crossroads", which direction do you mean? Should I be looking north or south of Baseline? and west or east of 35th? or 51st?
