Dacubz, how are you guys driving down? We are going through Colorado so we can take the kids to the grand canyon, assuming there isn't a winter storm. On the way back we are taking the route that runs more south. I don't know if there is anything fun to see that way, maybe the largest all of twine!!

We're going through Texas and New Mexico and through to Phoenix. I don't know if Colorado would be a good idea or not.

We drove out a few years ago in July, and hit alot of different spots. First stop was Amarillo Texas for a well deserved night of sleep after heading straight from Chicago. We then headed to Tombstone for a few days (30 miles from the Mexico Border), then up to Phoenix for the Cubbies for a few days. We continued to Sedona for a day, and then the Grand Canyon for a few more. The Canyon if definitely beautiful, and worth a trip but I don't know what the weather is like up there in March. We took the Colorado route home, but the southern route is much more scenic. Be sure to check the weather outlook before heading through the northern routes.
