These look ABSOLUTELY beautiful, and they are actually in our price range ($800,000 or less). The community looks amazing---I was looking for opinions on the homes/value/builders---they are named Kitchell.
Thanks
Craig

Some very nice models there but way overpriced and they have had enormous problems selling their lots. Basement option is outrageously priced. Still, if a condominium setup or a dual master bedroom setup appeals to you it isn't bad but I would negotiate hard.

Otherwise, check out Aegean Cove in Fulton Ranch just down the street. Far more home for the dollars.

Default Great!

We dont really need a double master, as we have two kids...they'll fight over it...the community looks great, but thanks for the info....Aegean Cove is really nice as well?

Kitchell is a good builder. They are a mostly commercial contractor that does some high end and custom residential. Didn't you say in another thread you will be working in N. Scottsdale ? You don't want to drive from S. Chandler to N. Scottsdale. That commute will suck the life out of you. Find something a little smaller or a little older in NE Phoenix or Scottsdale, you'll be happier and have 2-3 hours a day to do something other than staring at brakelights on the 101.

You will regret moving there...Ocotillo (oh-ka-tee-o) is a LONG haul to FLW in Scottsdale...unless you drive at off times it will take at least an hour in mostly stop/go traffic...you can find plenty of nice places in the Kierland/Desert Ridge/Grayhawk, etc. areas in that price range AND be a lot closer to work.

Default villas at Ocotillo

We've looked at those homes as well. They are gorgeous, aren't they? Kitchell Contractors is a major commercial general contractor in the southwest headquartered in Phoenix. I did lots of business with those guys as a construction subcontractor before I got into real estate; they were very reputable and honest in their dealings with us.

They started a custom home subdivision 3-4 years ago (not sure they think it was a great move at this point). I am continually recieving email flyers from them with incredible incentives to Realtors so they must be hurting a bit. The area is awesome and I can't imagine that in a couple of years someone won't be glad they purchased now.

He will because his commute is to the FLW/Scottsdale Rd area... That drive is long with NO traffic at around 30 miles or so one way...

Wow, $800.000 for a house in Feeniks? What a great investment!! You should not be advertising this type of "steal", otherwise, the entire country will find out about this "hidden gem" called Feeniks!
