Looking to move in vistancia. Someone told me since it's near a mountain/hill. It will have plenty of reptiles like snakes, lizards and will be on the driveway too. Any one has experienced it ?

We have a place there. We're not full time but stay there several months spread throughout the year.

I have seen a few small reptiles, no snakes but I know they are there. Wife saw Havelinas, I have not. There were lots of coyotes but seldom see them anymore. Saw a bobcat once. See many roadrunners. They're neat. Wild Burro's but I have not seen them yet. Would like to for sure.

It is near hills/moutains.

Wildlife and reptiles are there I suppose but its not something you get to see everyday. The sightings are rare enough that we get excited if we have the opportunity to see something.

IMO its the perfect place.

Lived there for almost 7 years and counted 5 snakes the first summer then non after that. You will occasionally hear of a kid getting bit after chasing a ball into the bushes, but very seldom does that happen. Scorpions are everywhere but they too are a rare sight. Just wear shoes outside and be careful where you stick your hand. Coyotes are urbanized so you will find them in Los Angeles as well as AZ...just do not feed them. Javalina exist up in Vistancia and I took a walk with a family once and was grateful I was not discovered. They scare me more than coyotes. I loved Vistancia and we still have a home up there that we rent now. Maybe someday we will go back for a year or so, who knows.
