As anyone lived here? What is your take on the complex?

I lived there almost 20 yrs ago, so I doubt my experience is pertinent. At the time, it was a nice, quiet complex. Rent was far less expensive than I had anticipated considering the location, condition, and amenities. Well managed; never had an issue with maintenance. Couple of noise complaints in the 3 yrs I lived there (one against me, during the triple-overtime game of the Suns/Bulls championship series - had the TV too loud...). Great location. No crime issues whatsoever - the entire time I was there, I didn't hear of any burglary/vandalism. Only reason I left was to buy a house.

In '93, rent was $565/mo; increased to $630/mo by the time I moved out in '96.

Just checked the current rates for the 829sq 1-1 I was renting - I find it odd that it's only gone up about $150/mo in 19 yrs.

Sorry I can't supply you with more current info.

You may want to check out the online reviews...

Palisades at Paradise Valley Apartment Ratings, Reviews, Map, Rents, and other Phoenix apartments for rent from ApartmentRatings.com

Might explain why the rent is relatively low.

I have no knowledge of this complex, but apartment ratings sites are notoriously heavy with comments from former residents with axes to grind. Satisfied residents don't tend to bother commenting with the same passion as angry former residents. I'd take their comments with a giant grain of salt.
