I am coming to visit PHX in July and looking for baby friendly hotel. I need something clean and safe. I will have a car so free parking is also nice option. Online search does not say much about what is family friendly.

I do not have children, so maybe I'm not understanding correctly....

What does a baby friendly hotel consist of?

Where in PHX do you need to stay? Where are you visiting? PHX is 5 times the area size of Seattle, so location is important to know.

I think they're all baby friendly and pretty much all have free parking.

Ok, when I say baby friendly I mean no drunk college student room next to me, no weird looking turist trying to borrow spare change on my way out....I am hoping to visit area, whatever is considered interesting i suppose. I have notice some hotels do charge parking, and people complained about it on reviews sites.

The only hotels that charge for parking, as far as I know, are the large hotels downtown, that have garages for parking. Most hotels just have their own parking lots.

There's no way to say for sure that you absolutely won't have someone noisy in the room next door, but any issues with other guests would be very rare if you stick to one of the national chains, as they tend to attract business travelers and families.

I'm still not clear on what your plans are while you are here, you hope to visit the area, and "whatever is considered interesting I suppose". What are YOU interested in? Museums? (what kind), parks, entertainment venues, nature sightseeing, etc. There are suitable hotels in various parts of the valley, it just depends on what your plans are.

The Pointe Hilton Squaw Peake is very kid friendly. We stayed there and the pool was filled with a lot of kids. It has various pool features as well. I would recommend you check them out. Parking is free.

I'm only familiar with the baby unfriendly hotels that have loose live electrical wires, an assortment of sharp utensils laying around, and various 'mystery' powders strew about the room. These hotels also charge by the pound for your baby. Sorry I can't be of any help.

[mod cut-- response to deleted post]
Anyway, I have been to hotels that had drunken 21 year old room next to me, crazy, like somebody let them off the chain. I do not want to be near that. We will be looking into few museums and visit 2-4 apartment complexes. Thanks to all who helped.

[mod cut-- response to deleted material]. Try a resort.

Most of the nicer resorts don't put up with twelve college students packing into a room and getting drunk all night. Most of the downtown hotels will be the same. This isn't Daytona Beach during spring break.

[mod cut-- rude, personal]
