I am going to move to Tempe, AZ from Austin, TX. I would like to know what area (Cross Street) or what apartment to look for in South Tempe. I need somewhere is safe and newer apartment. I will be working around Intel, please give me some suggestions. I have read many threads, just couldn't find a right answer. MANY THANKS.......

I'd suggest looking around Guadalupe and McClintock. I know of a place on Guadalupe just a little bit west of that intersection that's pretty nice. Also, Ray Rd & McClintock, which is in Chandler. Intel is actually in Chandler, so be sure to check out the eastern strip of Chandler while you're at it. Keep in mind, you'll pay a premium to live in a "luxury" apartment complex here.

There are a lot of apts along Grove Pkwy between Priest Dr and Kyrene Rd. Further south on Priest, there are some more apartments just north of Ray Rd.
