104.7 for me. I like that kind of music (hip hop) and I love the DJ's in the morning- JohnJay and Rich! They are nominated (3rd time) for best morning show in the nation. They are competing against Ryan Seacrest, and 3 other shows.

I listen to a lot of NPR programming on 91.5. For Music I like KSLX and KEDJ.

I used to like KTAR for the mix of opinion, but they took a hard right turn in the past few weeks and I no longer listen much. I am looking for a new spot on the dial.

Interesting post, Valley Native . . .

Since switching to SIRIUS Satellite Radio a few years ago . . . NO MORE FM FOR ME!

I listen to CDs mostly, but when I do listen to the radio, it's almost always NPR on 91.5.

It has been a struggle to keep this type of talk on the air due to the other side buying up the stations in the past and converting them to other formats. They are finally funded and here to stay. As a matter of fact they have social gatherings as well. There was a get together to see one of the talk show hosts "Randi Rhodes" and it was sold out at the Venue in Scottsdale. We had a great time, it is like a family.
I met some wonderful people there and had a blast. Randi did stand up and we all had a laugh.
Not only do I listen to the station in the car-but I listen online and podcast as well. The signal is not very good in certain areas of the valley and at night they are required to turn down the signal so it is nearly impossible to hear. So, I podcast. I listen to a 3 hour show in an hour and 45 mins without commercials on my ipod. Technology is great.
I feel that I actually get news that isn't filtered through big business' corporate media. It is a refreshing change. I especailly recommend: Mike Malloy, Randi Rhodes, Thom Hartman, and for laughs early in the morning Stephanie Miller.
Hope this helps.

No it's just that their is no audience for that.

KFYI baby!
