Which is too bad, because there's important issues about our community that ought to be discussed.

We also discuss roaches, traffic, and how great Gilbert is here.

Most of the threads here seem to be started by out-of-towners and that's what they're interested in. Feel free to start something else. I'll read it.

What would you like to discuss?

This isn't grade-school, you don't have to raise your hand and be called on to discuss a topic. Post a thread, if people are interested they'll surely make their opinions known.

I'm interested in the migrating patterns of the polar bear...not exactly a popular topic for Phoenix, Arizona.

Oh, I think there are quite a few more topics that are relevant to Phoenix. However, discussions of other cities or things unrelated to Phoenix are off topic for the Phoenix relocation forum.

Go for it, Cacto . . . start something and, who knows, we may chime in.

Ya know, there are some threads that ought to be deleted from the very beginning. Kudos to the mods for their restraint.

That's the whole gist of the thread actually, the fact that there's a high degree of censorship for anything that strays out of narrow bounds. Which apparently is just fine with you and went over your head lol there's absolutely nothing wrong with the sentiment expressed nor any reason to delete it.

As previously stated, there are plenty of topics that are appropriate for the Phoenix relocation forum. The problem is when the discussion wanders off topic onto other cities. At that point, the thread becomes useless to people who come here looking for information about Phoenix. We already have forums for general discussions - they're called General U.S. and City vs. City.

In addition, please remember the Terms of Service prohibit discussion of moderation in the forums. If you have questions or concerns, please send a mod a direct message, or contact senior moderators Yac or Marka.
Please register to post and access all features of our very popular forum. It is free and quick. Over $68,000 in prizes has already been given out to active posters on our forum. Additional giveaways are planned.
