I store a vehicle in a nice clean garage while I'm away.
Is there anything I should do to discourage critters crawling into tail pipes, air vents, whatever, or is it a non issue? And of course there is nothing to eat in the vehicle except minute crumbs maybe ....
Should I just spray the days I return and do a good visual inspection?

Just buy a couple of these and throw them in your garage. You can get them at most grocery stores. They'll kill any bugs that get in the garage for 3-4 months. I also put them in a couple opposite areas of the house to get good coverage. I never have a bug problem.

Wow. I never even thought of a bug/critter/creepie crawlie getting into a car through the tail pipe. I'd be more concerned with a neighborhood kid wielding a potato.
