Any reputable and honest automotive air conditioning repair shops in the greater
Phoenix/Mesa/Gilbert/Queen Creek areas?

The name and address would be greatly appreciated.

I've been going to Gene's Auto Worx for a few years. He's the most honest mechanic I've ever dealt with.

I've gone to Inman & Sons for years. Same as Bungle's experience with his/her shop, they're scrupulously honest and respectful to everyone. They do a lot of fleet work for local TV channels and other businesses.

My best example of their work ethic is a day I was waiting in their lobby for a repair to be completed, along with an elderly customer. The mechanic came out to tell the woman her car didn't need on oil change yet because she'd only driven 100 miles since the last one. She was worried the sticker on her windshield said to bring it in on that date. He politely reassured her they'd done a complete safety check on the car, and there was no charge. They could have changed the oil and taken the lady's money, and she'd never have known the difference. That was the first time I'd ever seen an auto mechanic refuse to take money!

[mod cut-- consumer complaints not allowed] I have had good luck with gruelichs auto repair. They are friendly and won't try to cheat you. I go to the one off of the 51 freeway and I think its greenway rd. There's a goodwill across from them.
