I think this is one of those new-fangled places where you rent a bedroom (and a bath, probably) in a large apartment directly from the landlord, and share the common area of the apartment with others doing the same thing. Each tenant would have his or her own "lease" assuming they get to the point of signing one. There are at least a couple of places like that in Tempe, and I suspect at least one place like that near the downtown campus.

I get that now after reading their web site. But wow, I can only imagine how fun it would be to be the Property Manager at a place that operates that way.

Exactly my reaction when I saw the plans for the new building downtown that has apts up to FOUR bedrooms. Chaos.
