No kidding. Lazy, lazy, lazy. We painted the outside of our house last spring. By the looks and comments from the neighbors, one would have thought selling paint to white people was illegal in AZ.

Actually, the City of Phoenix has subcontractors to handle that kind of cleanup. Depending on the neighborhood, the subcontractor may be a coyote, rat, vulture, etc.

I have called the City of Tempe to pick up dead cats in the street, but whe nit's on your property you are on your own. Get a shovel scoop it into a box and chuck it in the dumpster to real to be a baby. Things die and you sometimes have to clean it up.

Can the city of Phoenix do this for free?

Thanks.

You may want to check with your Dept. of Natural Resources (?) folks. In my state, WI, birds may die from the Bird Flu (BF) virus which can be transmitted to humans.
Your AZ folks may be interested in picking it up for analysis.

Take you less than 30 seconds start to finish, longer than it did to compose this post.
This^^^There are no city pick up services for birds, rats, mice, in the State of AZ. Do as others say bag it and dispose of it in the trash or bury it in the back yard. And they only pick up larger animals like dogs cats, coyotes, deer, bear, bobcats, skunks, javelina, chupacabra's, yeti's, etal, if they are located on public right of ways.

You are right. Blue Jay is known for that. I don't know if there are Blue Jays in Arizona. I have not seen one yet.
