Anyone here know who to call for dead bird pick up in front yard?
Can the city of Phoenix do this for free?

Thanks.

Default Dead bird

I don't know about in AZ, but where I live in the Northeast, we have to pay private companies to do that. I once had to pay $200 to have a dead possum removed from under my car. I think I found it under "animal control" in the phone book.

I never heard of such a thing. I suppose you could call a handyman, but this is a DIY project that is part of being a homeowner. If you don't want to touch it, get a shovel and a rake, scoop it and toss it in the big trash container.

Things die. Can't you just pick it up with a shovel and put it in your trash?

Or just leave it there until your dog or cat picks it up and brings it into the house.

How old are they? If they are close to flying age, the mother will keep feeding them. If they are small, call Liberty Wildlife for help with taking them to a pickup location. They've saved a lot of birds!

How long have they been there? I looked it up once and learned that eventually the adults kick the little ones out to learn how to fly, so if the nest is nearby this might be normal.

Just noticed this morning, strong winds last night. They don't look like hatchlings, but far from taking flight!

If you know where the nest is, just put them back in if it is still there. (No, they don't "smell" you and ignore the chicks).
