Safe - sure

A bit far removed from the rest of the metro, mediocre schools .... that as well unless you are in Verrado, then it's just a bit far removed

Finger Laker hit it right on the head. Perfectly safe unless you're opposed to agricultural smells, you won't be safe from that.

Agricultural smells are not limited to Buckeye, they are all over. There is less traffic out on this side of town, your just that much closer to vacation in California, many new communities old and new growing and thriving and with the completion of the 303 coming soon, much easier to get around. I know people that live on the North side of I10 and the South side and there are pluses and minuses to both. I would be worried about safety in any community, not just Buckeye. Most new home builds come with alarms or wired for them, many have cameras at the entry, don't leave things in your car in the driveway and get the kids in from out front or parks before dark. There are plenty of good schools, I prefer Litchfield School district which Verrado is in and there are many Charter schools to choose from. We are close to Westgate where there is an outlet mall, the Cardinals Stadium and the Coyote Hockey team. A 20-30 minute drive to the airport and downtown. We'll have a mall in Goodyear in the coming a year, hopefully. For now we are forced to go North to Arrowhead or way far East. I agree with Elliott, It's a great place to live.
