other than The Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park (?) recommended and will check out ... where would you go for fun in the west end. any fun happy hours with professionals? we don't golf (yet - ha!) but maybe there are some nice club houses we can go to. any pubs / music in that area?

If you are in your 60s there will be a lot of 55+ activities for socializing in the area

there are groups like the Rotary
Goodyear Rotary (White Tanks) Home Page

I believe there are some professional meet ups ... but I can't think of them off hand, they do get advertised on occasion though

The Calendar in the West Valley View will occasionally have some of this information (I believe they call it "9 days a week")

I know a lot of people in your (my ) age group who use Toastmasters as a social outlet and networking option. I'm sure there's a chapter in your area.
