Painted too? I got quotes from $2300 - $3000 but we had 2500 sq ft of fence to do.

That includes materials also? Was he a licensed contractor? If so, that sounds like a great price for that amount of footage.

I agree. A neighbor of mine stuccoed his fence/it wasn't a large area and he said never again....wasn't worth it.

I should have been more specific. That was labor (no paint). I am not sure how much the material costs. The stucco material cannot be much ($300-$500)?? I didn't get a price for the paint but I can do that with my sprayer.

He has done a lot of work in the neighborhood. I got his name from a another sub contractor. I'm not sure if he isn't licensed.

Material wise for stucco it's about 1 sack per 40 sq ft double coated, at least that's how our's came to.

Update time!

Busy week this week...got a lot of things installed and the major stuff is done with really. All the pavers are in, ran 3 electrical outlets throughout the yard, figured they'll come in handy down the road, brought in 40 tons of top soil to slop against the back wall and fill in the yard to the level of the patio/pool deck and painted the stucco fence. Up next is to complete the irrigation, then plant the trees/shrubs/etc ,bring in gravel, and finally to lay down sod.

Pictures from this morning...finished right on time as it rained pretty good last night...great for settling all the top soil that was brought in.

The area in the middle will have sod back to the border and the gravel and plants along the fences.

Gravel and plants on the right by the house.

Flower bed or herb garden in the "eye" shape up front and the sod in the middle...

Sod in the small area behind the walkway...

And that's where we're at so far.

Now some pics along the way...picked up all the irrigation pipes and some concrete.

Electrical runs and gas...

Some irrigation I ran for the palm trees...

Pavers being worked on...

And finally a comparison of the back "jail" fence without the stucco and without the sloping dirt. I think it definitely helped to make the fence feel less imposing and the backyard to feel bigger/wider.

Beautiful! Any plans for lighting? Uplights on each of the pygmies would look awesome at night.

Yes sir! Already ran the wires before we put the pavers down. I have a 600w transformer ready to go in...not sure how many light's we'll have...probably 10 uplights (6 pygmy's and 4 other trees) then accent lighting in various spots around the yard.
