Do any organisations near Chandler accept food donations? I have an excess of canned food etc that needs to find a home other than in the garbage.

thanks

Thanks, we head out of Phoenix on the 10th, eventually reaching England later this month. I've enjoyed living in Arizona and can only see it continue to grow as so many people come here from all over. If I visit again in maybe 20yrs I imagine it being twice the size!

City-data has been invaluable. The ability to ask "people who know" makes life a lot easier. I appreciate all the advice I've been given here

Se ya around, bloke.

Happy trails to you & yours and check out St. Mary's Food Bank. There's a distribution centre (shameless English plug spelling) at Thomas & I-17.

If you have any haggis, just bring it to the house.

My go-to charity is Save the Family. It's in Mesa, but it's a great organization. Their mission is to help homeless families get back on their feet and they do more than just give them shelter and a meal. They stick w/ them for mos (used to be 2 yrs, but had to be reduced due to funds, now around 9 mos I believe) and help prepare them for job interviews, etc. They host baby showers for mothers in need w/o a support system. Wonderful things. They even ease them into lower cost housing eventually. Great great place w/ no ulterior motives.
