Hi everyone. This is a rather early request since my wife won't be starting med school at SCNM until Jan 2015 but what do you all think about the apartments around SCNM? There is a complex called Villa Real that, as of right now, has a 1bd 1bth 750 for like 700$. Does anyone have an opinion on this location?

My wife will probably be in school for 12-13 hours a day and I'm going to try and get a job in Scottsdale near FLW. Is the 101 bad going N in the morning and S in the evening?

SCNM is off of Broadway and the 101 just southeast of ASU. Since it is really close to the university you will have a good number of students in the nearby apartment complexes....shouldn't be a problem though it really isn't that big of a deal just thought I throw that out there. The area is suburban and pretty nice and safe so no worries there. Regarding your job, if you commute during normal 9-5 hours then yes you will encounter heavy traffic on the 101 during busy commute times both northbound and southbound. It's not too bad but it sucks but hey that's big city life right..
