Hey guys so I will be in Phoenix-Scottsdale next month for a week
I prefer to get the real local vibe when I go to a city or place and not the "touristy" vibe
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on places that are fun to go to whether it's to eat/cigar shop or hookah bar/hang out during the day etc/party at night etc

Like I said I'm not looking for touristy places but places to get the real feel

I got my cowboy hat and I'm ready

When I lived in north central Phoenix my usual haunts were Chino Bandito, El Bravo and Los Reyes De La Torta for food. If I wanted a drink or two I generally pick places that were fairly mellow. Places like North Mountain Brewery and the two Irish pubs on Dunlap (one on the east side and one is on the west side of I-17).

PS: you might want to leave the cowboy hat at home. You will stick out like a sore thumb in most places (assuming you are under 40)

Woman working in the fields might be fairly hot..... Or in big steel buildings without AC units.

I've lived here for ten years now, and the only "touristy vibes" I get are during spring training and maybe on the golf course at one of the resorts.

Seeing how you're 25 years of age, I don't think that you're going to have problems having fun in Scottsdale, Tempe, or Phoenix.

And those straw gardening hats are all the rage in these parts.

Thank you

Yeah I see a lot of museums and stuff and I don't care for that

Definitely Scottsdale if you are looking for the day/night party scene. Plenty of people in your age range with various types of bars/clubs/restaurants.

If you don't eat a Chino Bandito then you didn't really come to Phoenix.

If you're just looking to party, dance and gawk at attractive ladies then Mill Ave in Tempe and downtown Scottsdale are your best bets.
