I have these little dark brow/black bugs in my bathroom. It started with what I thought was fruit flies coming from my garden thru my screens. They were all over my house and attracted to light. I bought some all natural crawling insect spray and sprayed the walls all around the lights. You wouldn't believe how many were dead on my walls. Now for the most part they are gone from flying around the house but are all over my bathrooms. And I think it's been so long that I'm seeing babies. I find them crawling all over. I sprayed the bug spray around the edges of my bathroom and the toilet and eventually they die but they just keep coming and coming. I have a bowl of water in the bathroom that the cats drink out of and they seem to go to the bowl of water so I got rid of that.they originally were small brownish black flying bugs now they're smaller which I'm thinking are babies. When you smash them It Looks blood on the tissue.

I'm not sure what they are.

Are you in an apartment or a house? If you are in a home you own, call an exterminator to get advice and deal with this more effectively. If you are renting (apartment or house) do what you need to do with the landlord per your lease to get the appropriate spraying done.

I ve had these in the past - especially after wind events like we ve been having lately. I forget what kind of beetle they are (search on my name and you may come up with a thread on these from me a few years ago...) but they come in from the farm fields during windstorms....for me they only lasted a few days and then were gone......

I would have to say bed bugs- but bed bugs don't fly! (they are also smaller- tick size and slightly fuzzy in comparison- red/black color)I am in the multifamily housing business, and am baffled... Are they aggressive (biters)?

OP your pictures aren't clear enough or large enough for me to identify, but if you open this website you should be easily able to identify it yourself.

Not earwigs. Wrong shape, and she didn't mention the smell when you smash one. I remember that from way back.
