can't stand the birds. they like to bring a newspaper and squat on my outdoor ceiling fans. I also occasionally catch them in the waterfalls. pigeons, crows, sparrows, roadrunners and ducks and whatever those white water birds are (constantly flying overhead). You can come grab some of mine too.

Just this morning I was greeted by a hummingbird. It hovered in front of the glass back door just as I was going to let the dogs out. Just hovering there staring at me.

I've seen sparrows, inca doves, morning doves, a pair of cardinals, and a few I don't recognize in my backyard. I bought a feeder but they empty it every day...I can't afford to feed so many! I'd like to get a hummingbird feeder, though.

No shortage in my yard.

No lack of birds at my house...matter of fact a crane scared the heck out of the dog a couple of days ago flying low and slow over the house. Want birds in your yard? Leave some dog food out...you'll get plenty.

Birds move around sometimes. We used to have a grackle colony in our pine tree. After I had it trimmed the grackles moved out. Now we doves up there. At least the doves are quieter in the morning.

Are the quails in just certain areas of the Phoenix area? I notice everyone mentioning birds but never quails. With the huge amount of them I had, I thought they must be a dominant bird in the area. They were literally all over the neighborhoods in the Surprise area.

I see the quails all over, but not in my yard. They're so cute with their little "hats"

Hey Jim! How is everything in Mass?

I would love to ship some of the birds from our neighborhood. They are loud and numerous.
