Yes, I have done that with Cox and have gotten breaks in prices due to the "retention" customer service person. But when I switched to Prism with Cent. Link, the bill has gone from $88 to $140 now, when all the promotions have ended. I tried to scream unfair and can't afford it, but got no where. Prices just keep creeping up every year and there isn't much you can do about it.

Based on what I read in the magazine, unless they changed things, my understanding is dr's vote other dr's in to be in the "top" list, ie peer voting. It's not done by patients last I knew.

That issue goes pretty much straight in my recycle bin.

Yeah I heard the same thing with CenturyLink, I think it was ElleTea that mentioned they refused to budge on price.

We essentially have free checking through Arizona Bank and Trust. If you sign up for e-statements then you avoid the fee 2.50 fee for paper statements. As long as we use our debit card as a credit card so many times a month we actually earn interest on the money we have deposited. There aren't as many locations at the bigger banks, but it is worth it to us to go with a local bank vs. a megabank.
