Look into the crime rate of some of the suburbs of LA, the crime is still there, it just shifted geographically. Don't believe me, I dare you to go to west Hollywood after dark

Good points. Makes you wonder why L.A. has become safer and Phoenix is supposedly ridden with crime. Most likely, the L.A. thugs moved here because being a lowlife miscreant is cheaper here than it is in L.A. Isn't the cheaper cost of living one of the main reasons why many people move here from California? Unfortunately, that tends to bring in a higher crime element.

Well NYC should be crime-less.
