Need a little more info about what you are looking for. Are you talking nondenominational, (megachurch or more "nomal" size) or churches affiliated with mainline religions that take a more contemporary approach to worship?

Also helps if you tell us what part of the valley you want to stay in. I attend Phoenix Bible Church that meets in a school auditorium near downtown on occasion. Full of young people and a contemporary band.

So something big, not prosperity gospel like Joel Osteen, vaguely evangelical with a number of young professionals? Sounds like CCV out in the west valley. They rented out the Cardinal's football stadium for Easter last year and filled the place up.

Megachurch, then. Community Church of the Valley, in the NW Valley, as suggested, or Cornerstone in Chandler are the first two that come to mind.
