As I have posted before we are moving to the Phoenix area this summer, but we are coming out next week to look at some houses/areas. Just looking for any info about Vistancia? It seems like a very nice community and i'm just trying to get a better idea from people who actually live in or near it. Thanks in advance, I appreciate all your responses

Vistancia is WAY out there and unless a new one has been put in there is only one grocery store, gas station, and pharmacy located at the very beginning of Vistancia. Everything else is about 5+ miles in at Happy Valley and Lake Pleasant and that shopping center on the NW corner gets insanely congested. The Walmart is a few miles south of there. It is a safe area as is all of North Peoria and the schools are good, 8s and 9s based on greatschools.com.

As for commute from Happy Valley and Lake Pleasant it is about 10-15 minutes to the 101 at Union Hills. If you go east on Happy Valley from Lake Pleasant to I-17 it is 20-30 minutes I would bet maybe a little more. From either of those locations it could be about an hour to downtown during rush hour.

I live in the area but not in Vistancia itself.

Thanks so much for the quick response and all the info you provided :] My two concerns were safety and schools, so you answered two of my most important questions.
