+1 For Wineburger. Though my personal fav is still Four Peaks Brewery in Tempe. I love their southwest burger.

Because they are lean burgers there isn't a significant decrease in size due to melting fat. A 1/2 pound burger is 1/2 pound at raw but not even close when cooked.

I was a chef in my younger days at a popular burger joint that advertised large 1/2 pound burgers, but once you grill those suckers they shriveled in 1/2 themselves

Nonetheless I love the DB in Tucson.

BUT...do they come with "BIG A$$ FRIES!!!"

I will concur with Colt...Best burgers come off my grill...and I didn't have to pay anyone $15 an hour to cook it and no one spit in it/sneezed on it/licked the bun/etc.

Rehab in Scottsdale. Not only the best Mushroom and Swiss I've ever had, but I regularly fantasize about their PB&J burger.

But the burgers at Four Peaks come with award winning beer, hot arse waitresses and ambiance.

Thanks for the ideas everybody!! Another place I just read about is called Gilgin's Bar...They have a 2 Lb burger that if you finish in under 1 hour you get your meal free. Not too worried about getting the meal free, but has anybody been there? Can you comment to how good that burger (or the food there in general) is? Here's the link for Gilgin's Bar and that 2 Lb Burger contest
